Samsung Galaxy S20 is expected to come with 5X Zoom and 108MP camera, release event is on February 11

South Korean mobile phone manufacturer Samsung is going to launch its next powerful smartphone phone Galaxy S20 on February 11. As per the previous reports, company was supposed to launch S11, but now it is confirmed that the company is launching Galaxy S20.

According to the recent reports the company is going to launch Galaxy S20 on February 11 with 108MP camera having 5X Zoom.  This specification is a top feature in the mobile field which will a trend setter feature in the mobile industry.

As per the reports South Korean company Optron-Tec will supply 5x optical zoom to Samsung. Earlier the same company supplied prisms for the Oppo Reno 10x zoom. The 5X zoom will provide powerful functionality to Samsung Galaxy S20 smartphone.

These days most of the premium smartphone comes with 5x or more zoom cameras. This feature seems to increase the sales of the phones in the market. These days most of the companies are offering this feature with their latest smartphones.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S20 models are expected to come with much faster refresh rate. The recent leaks show that the Samsung Galaxy S20 will have 120Hz refresh rate, which is good for display of high quality graphics media.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 is expected to be built using latest Exynos 990 chipsets, which is the latest chipset for mobile devices. This chipset is designed to give fast performance and uses the GPU for graphics processing. This chipset is designed to provide the support for 108MP cameras and up to 120Hz displays.

According to the tweet of the Tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), the company will adopt the S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra naming for upcoming Samsung Galaxy S20 smartphones. People were expecting S11e, S11 and S11+ nomenclature, but finally company decided to go about S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra names.

As per the smartphone specifications, company will be using two types of chipset for these phones. It is expected to use Exynos 990 in some markets and the Snapdragon 865 in the rest of the market. But complete details are still not revealed by the company.

Samsung Galaxy S20 will come in three models:

  • Samsung Galax S20
  • Samsung Galax S20+ and
  • Samsung Galax S20 Ultra

These three different models will cater to different price segment. As per the company statement these phones will be launched on 11 February. During this event we will be able to see the complete specification of these phones. There still no official work on the pricing of these phones
